Day 1: Harder Than I Thought... And I Thought It Would Be Hard

And thank goodness today is OVER! The healthy eating wasn't too bad at all because I eat pretty well for the most part already. I'm not following Jillian's diet to the T because I like a more natural approach, whereas she is a heavy user of Splenda, etc.
The work outs were what got me! She's a BEAST! Each Day consists of 5 or 6 circuits which have about 8 workouts in each of those. And they aren't easy little sit-ups, either! For example, one excerpt of the instructions might say: "50 squats; then run as fast as you can for 1 minute straight; now 50 more squats and NO RESTING!" Towards the end of the workout I was resting every 30 seconds and taking breaks for water and antacid and I am not kidding you when I say I limped out of that gym like a little old lady. BUT!- I am so proud of myself for actually following through! And my healthy, God-Made lunch (technically it's Whitney-Made but it's all natural, God-Made food) is packed and ready to go for tomorrow!
Day 29 can BRING IT!

  1. You know what I was thinking as I was reading about the workout...? Are these workouts the ones that Jillian actually uses or are they her "biggest loser" workouts? because it sounds like you're going to be burning like 1000 calories per workout, and i don't know if your little body can handle that!

    Good job on doing the workouts. They do sound like torture.
