Day 4

Okay it was fun at first. Now we're on day 4 of basically the entire city of Atlanta being shut down. Still no work, still no leaving the house. Actually, I take that back- I went to Waffle House yesterday (always open!) and that was quite an adventure! We got stuck several times.

Speaking of stuck, the best part of this entire thing has got to be our view. Our apartment is on the corner of two hills so we get front row seats in both directions of all the cars trying to make it up the hill on the 1" thick ice covered roads. It has to be the funniest thing I've ever seen! The driver will go around and around, trying over and over to get up the hill. The sound of his squealing wheels wakes up the whole neighborhood. He'll go slow, then the next time he'll gun it, then he'll try doing it backwards... but it always ends in the same defeat as he slowly reverses back down the road...
