So This Is Atlanta...
Our first 2 days in the state of Georgia were spent in the quiet country of Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's house. Today we experienced true Atlanta for the first time...
TRAFFIC!!! There are cars and freeways EVERYWHERE! I can't believe how every time you make a turn you are on another freeway with 4 hundred million more people than were on the last freeway you just left. I also can't believe how long I can sit in a stand-still- car with a full bladder. Congratulations, Self.
Secondly, WHO KNEW YOU HAD TO PAY TO USE THE FREEWAY??? Brad and I were happily driving along I-Something and all of a sudden we came to a toll booth that required $0.50 before you could pass! I frantically searched my purse and found nothing but pennies (which the booth doesn't accept) and it was approaching closer and closer. Luckily, I remembered to check the ashtray just as we approached the toll and found EXACTLY 50 cents. However, this is awkward little Brad and Whitney we're talking about and just as we thought we were free to go the machine said we were still short 5 cents! I could do nothing but laugh hysterically! This is pretty much what I do every time I either fear for my life or I am utterly lost without a solution... that's right, I laugh. So now Brad is searching the ashtray and sifting through the pennies and the honking begins and the line behind us builds. And I'm still laughing. And my face is very, very red. Somehow I think God miraculously placed a dime in the ashtray at that exact moment and Brad threw it in the toll and stepped on the gas. I was still laughing.

Oh that is fun stuff. I'm sure Brad loved the fact that you were laughing while he was searching for coins.
